The partners at Tacoma, Wash.-based Puget Law Group knew once they saw how hard the Coronavirus hit that they wanted to help essential workers. After some thought, they realized that one group that’s been working exceptionally hard are the corrections officers at Pierce County Jail.
“Local law enforcement folks are as ‘Essential’ as it gets,” the firm explained. “Under-appreciated and facing exposure to infection – without the luxury of masks or faceshields – they are truly on the front lines of the Corona nightmare.”
To show its appreciation, on the morning of April 23, #TeamPLG delivered three big snack boxes to Pierce County Corrections Officers at the PC Jail.
Later in the day, the firm teamed up Tonala Mexican Restaurant to deliver their delicious tacos to Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies and employees.
The firm says it is their small way of giving back to our community – in fact, to those who keep our community safe.
